Liverpool is the birthplace of the "Beatles," whose old haunt - the "Cavern Club" - has been re-opened; unfortunately, it was closed the day I was there.

Liverpool is also home to a good collection of museums located on the Merseyside waterfront, including the first permanent exhibition of "Titanic" artifacts.

The High-Barnet/Edgeware photo is obviously out of place as it is in London, not Liverpool; however, as this is organized chronologically, it didn't fit anywhere else.
