Sherlock Holmes

Tower Bridge Famous Places Covent Garden

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous character, "Sherlock Holmes", resided at 221b Baker Street in London's "west end". So popular are the stories that, not only do tourists visit that actual London address, but mail arrives daily addressed to Mr. Holmes; a full-time secretary is on hire to handle the volume of mail.

Here we have just two photographs of the address, showing tourists queued for entry into the museum.
