Moonlit Rail ™

In this view, we are looking east from atop the eastern abutment of the overpass that carries the Massachusetts Central over the Marlboro branch of the Fitchburg railroad. The bridge, originally located behind us, has been removed, as has one of the two rails heading east.

Below us and to the right is the short connecting track that links the Massachusetts Central with the Marlboro branch; oddly, the connecting track is in better shape than the main line. The author has inexplicably left his camera shoulder-pack and motorbike helmet in the lower foreground.
